How We Screen & Train
- Formal training: Nursing Aide Certificate, Caregiver Certificate, or Diploma/BSN for private nurses
- Selection criteria: willingness and positive attitude toward eldercare, communication skills, pleasant disposition
- Refresher training at our partner centres in Myanmar and Indonesia before deployment
- Monthly continuous training led by Xedge's in-house nursing team — skills updates, a channel to raise questions about a specific care recipient, and peer support among caregivers

What Our Caregivers Are Trained to Do
Core Skills (All Caregivers)
Mobility assistance & transferring, personal hygiene, medication reminders, feeding & special diets, meal preparation, light housekeeping.
Medical / Technical Skills
NG tube feeding, stoma care, urinary catheter care, suctioning, vital signs monitoring, wound care. Availability varies by caregiver — matched to your care plan.
Dementia & Alzheimer's Care
Patient, structured support with consistent routines and calm redirection.
Stroke & Post-Stroke Rehab
Hands-on help with mobility, rehab exercises, and daily activities during recovery.
Parkinson's Care
Support with mobility, tremor-related daily challenges, and medication routines.
Post-Surgical Recovery
Hands-on recovery support following surgery or hospital discharge.
Most caregivers complete refresher training at our partner centres in Myanmar and Indonesia before deployment, plus monthly continuous training led by our in-house nursing team once placed.
